So what’s all the fuss about, well, the origin story goes as follows…
Myself, Anisa. Young and fresh out of college, passion running through my veins ready to embark upon life’s latest adventure. You see I had always been infatuated with baking ever since the tender age of 10 and thus over the years my fondness of this hobby grew profoundly until I made the decision to pursue a career within this field.
However, there was one main issue and that was the question of what would my niche be? You see I had always said I cannot be “another” cake business because everyone I knew, or heard of, claimed to be a cake artist of some sort, hence it got me thinking, what could I bake that would not entail me being the same as everyone else?
This was the moment when, as they say, the penny dropped and I thought to myself how does one take an ordinary old cookie and make it something worth talking about? How does one take classic desserts and make them in cookie form? My motto is you name it and I shall make it as a cookie.
You must be thinking why cookies? Well, I had always been interested in cookies more so than the other bakes out there. It was something about their versatility that intrigued me and the fact that if I do say so myself, people just couldn’t seem to get enough of my cookies.
So when I finally decided to start selling to the wider public everyone was beyond thrilled and thus The Cookie Addiction journey began.
